Who We Are

NCLEX Kingdom is a gamified NCLEX-RN exam preparation app operated by NCLEX Kingdom. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@nclexkingdom.com.

What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use NCLEX Kingdom:

Account data

Email address (when you register or sign in with email)
Username and avatar selection
Google account identifier (if you sign in with Google)
Apple account identifier (if you sign in with Apple)
Timezone setting

Gameplay and progress data

Answers to quiz and quest questions (including which question, your response, whether it was correct, and time spent)
XP earned, current level, and overall performance statistics
Daily login streaks and streak history
Realm and quest progress (which realms you've completed, enemies defeated, tips collected)
PvP / Arena battle history (wins, losses, rating, rank)
Achievements, badges, and artifacts earned

Subscription data

Premium subscription status and expiration date
Subscription events (purchase, renewal, cancellation) processed through RevenueCat

We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), and RevenueCat.

Device and telemetry data

Anonymous usage analytics collected via PostHog (e.g., which screens you visit, features you use, and events like starting a PvP battle or completing a quest)
Your user ID is associated with analytics events so we can understand how individual users experience the app

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

Provide the service — save your progress, track your streaks, display your rank, and sync your account across devices
Improve the product — understand which features are used, identify bugs, and make the study experience better
Manage subscriptions — verify your premium status and handle billing events
Communicate with you — respond to support requests sent to our support email

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not show ads in NCLEX Kingdom.

How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate NCLEX Kingdom:

Google (Google Sign-In / OAuth) — authentication for users who choose to sign in with Google
Apple (Sign in with Apple) — authentication for users who choose to sign in with Apple
Google Workspace — email provider for our support address
PostHog — product analytics to help us understand how the app is used
Railway — cloud hosting and infrastructure for our servers and database
RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
Apple App Store & Google Play Store — payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions

Children

NCLEX Kingdom is designed for nursing students preparing for the NCLEX-RN, who are adults (typically 18 and older). This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@nclexkingdom.com.

For users in the European Economic Area, we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 without verified parental consent.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correct your data — update inaccurate information
Delete your account and data — request that we remove your personal data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@nclexkingdom.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Retention

Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within approximately 30 days of an account-deletion request.
Gameplay and progress data — retained for the lifetime of your account.
Analytics and telemetry data — retained for approximately 13 months.
Backups — database backups that may contain your data are retained for approximately 30 days after account deletion.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our servers and database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if we ever discover a breach that affects your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of NCLEX Kingdom after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing Law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
